Hallo there, Brenda here. You’re probably wondering who the hell I am, eh?
I am a Jill-of-all-Trades. While I will never be the best at what I do, I’m decent at a variety of thing. I cook and bake (but cleaning up after either requires some swearing). I sew things but not clothes (at least yet). I crochet various things. I write when I make the time for it. I futz with pictures to make vinyl stickers at work. I use that same vinyl in reverse to make stencils to make awesome but time-consuming custom t-shirts. I’ve tried my hand at chain mail and beading, embroidery and quilting.
I’m a self-professed bibliophile and geek. I enjoy stories about magic and wizards, werewolves and vampires (as long as they don’t sparkle), fae and demons. I love video games, board games, pen-and-paper roleplaying games, and card games. I don’t watch a lot of TV but there are certain shows and movies that I make a point to watch.
I have a husband who is as much of a geek as I am and two children who are growing up to be little geeklets themselves.
There is never nearly enough time to get everything I want done, but the brilliant thing about having so many interests is when I get tired of one, I move to another. (it doesn’t help with the finished projects part unless I’m working on gifts!)
